If you like more “movement” go to Praia da Rocha.
Beautiful beaches: Praia do Vau, Praínha and Praia de Ferragudo.
On the other side of Rio Arade is Ferragudo, a fishing village with nice restaurants and beautiful view of Portimão.
Lagos is 20km away and is also a beautiful city to visit, downtown mostly. Beautiful beaches: Praia D. Ana, Praia do Camilo, Praia de Porto de Mós.
You should also get to Monchique´s mountain. Fresh air, humid, stunning view points through the mountains and a sea.
